SHF Awarded Funds from NMWC as Gold Grantee

May 9, 2022 | News

On Tuesday, May 3rd, Shining Hope Farms was awarded funds from the North Mecklenburg Women’s Club (NMWC) as their Gold grantee at their 2022 All-Star Celebration and Evening of Gratitude. We were so honored to be selected as their Gold grantee in 2021 and now we can’t wait to put these newly awarded funds to good use serving the people of North Mecklenburg County through equine assisted activities and therapies.

NMWC members believe that in creating a better life for people in our communities they create a better life for each other. NMWC solicits applications from programs and projects that involve community organizing and/or economic development, seek to affect positive change in the community, provide opportunities for the women of the club to apply for volunteer positions, and empower local communities and their residents.

Thank you so much NMWC for helping us to advance our mission of enabling children and adults to reach their full potential through the use of equine assisted activities and therapies and helping to keep our programs affordable and accessible to all who need them in the North Mecklenburg area.
