SHINING HOPE FARMS TO HOST CHARITY BASS TOURNAMENT ON LAKE NORMAN
DENVER, NC (April 21, 2023) – On Saturday, May 20, Mt. Holly based nonprofit Shining Hope Farms will be hosting a charity bass tournament on Lake Norman. The event will be taking place at the Beatty’s Ford Access Area in Denver, NC.
The event has guaranteed $24,350 of payouts to winning fishermen and is offering some exciting raffles online and at the event. Registration is $175 and includes big fish.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support Shining Hope Farms’ programs including therapy services (physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as mental health counseling) and therapeutic riding. Shining Hope Farms specializes in utilizing hippotherapy (equine movement) as a treatment tool, when appropriate, and equine facilitated psychotherapy. They strive to make their services affordable and accessible to all who are in need including those that are low-income and Veterans.
“This will be the biggest one-day payout on Lake Norman in 2023, with huge bonuses and all boat contingencies,” says Jason Land Bass Tournament Director.
More than just a bass tournament, attendees will join friends, neighbors, colleagues, and local businesses for a day of camaraderie all in support of a good cause—providing hundreds of local children, adults, and Veterans with emotional, developmental, educational, medical, or behavioral challenges with the opportunity to obtain unique and effective therapies at little or no cost to them.

Shining Hope Farms is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enable children and adults to reach their full potential through the use of equine assisted activities and therapies.
