Shining Hope Farms Golf Tournament

This October, Shining Hope Farms is hosting its Annual Charity Golf Tournament, at Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club in Denver, NC. This event will support our mission of enabling children and adults to reach their full potential through the use of equine assisted activities and therapies. The day will include golf, contests, lunch, a silent auction, and an awards dinner.

More than just a golf tournament, you will join friends, neighbors, colleagues, and local businesses for a full day of camaraderie all in support of a good cause—providing hundreds of local children and adults with emotional, developmental, educational, medical, or behavioral challenges with the opportunity to obtain unique and effective therapies at little or no cost to them.

About Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club

Verdict Ridge is located on the quiet side of Lake Norman and is conveniently located to Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, and Mooresville. It is located on 500+ acres, characterized by generous fairways, distinct changes in elevation, meandering creeks, low-lying wetlands and an abundance of wildlife. A day on the links at Verdict Ridge is a truly memorable experience. It also features five sets of tees with yardages playing up to 6,926 yds.

Verdict Ridge and the surrounding properties were actually once part of the Catawba Springs Hotel and Resort. During the 1800’s, Senators, Congressmen and other affluent individuals would visit the area. Today it is located on a historical site.

Morning Tournament

Registration and Breakfast: 7 AM
Tee Time: 8 AM (tournament ends around 12:30 PM)
Awards and Lunch: 12:30 onsite at Guilties Bistro

Afternoon Tournament

Registration and Lunch: 1PM
Tee Time: 2 PM (tournament ends around 6:30 PM)
Awards and Happy Hour: 6:30 PM onsite at Guilties Bistro
